The typical Medallion treatment
takes 4-6 hours. During the Ozone Treatment, there
can be NO people or pets in the home or building.
Before a Medallion technician comes to treat your
home, make sure you follow this CHECKLIST
in order to prepare your home for the Ozone Treatment and get the maximum benefit.
On the date set by you and
Medallion Healthy Homes, a technician will arrive and
begin setting up. Set-up time usually takes 20-45 minutes
depending on the size, layout and area being treated of
the home.
The next step is to have everyone vacate the
home for the agreed upon time, and the Ozone Treatment
begins. After the time has expired, a trained Medallion
technician, breathing supplied air, will vent out the
home or building. By creating a lot of air flow, Medallion
reduces the ozone level to below 0.03ppm which is the
same level as the outside air.
Now the home or building
is safe to re-enter and full of fresh air. Then using
a HEPA filtered vacuum, the carpets should be vacuumed.
You should have your home treated once every 2 years
or when you feel that the air quality is below healthy
standards.
